First up, the Thorold Seniors Centre will host a Christmas Bazaar at 8 Carleton St. South, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. All are welcome to the annual event for crafts, a bake table, flea market, and penny sale. Lunch will be available.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Cobblestone Gardens Retirement Residence will host a Jingle Bell Bazaar, featuring a penny sale, bake sale, draws and refreshment table. All money raised will go towards Christmas programs for the senior residents at 10 Ormond St. North.

On Saturday evening, the Thorold Community Activities Group will hold its 24th Annual Charity Auction, featuring more than 120 items, available to the highest bidder. Leafs and Bills tickets, plus a condo stay in Myrtle Beach—and many more items, large and small—will be up for grabs during the live auction, starting at 7 p.m. A silent auction starts in the lobby at 6 p.m. Light snacks and a cash bar will be available from 6 to 10 p.m.
