For all the perfectionists and procrastinators out there, the deadline for submissions to the BIA's My Mother is a Work of Art contest has been extended to Thursday, May 9, said BIA marketing coordinator Diana D'Intino.
Prizes of jewellery, dinner out with Mom, and fresh flowers are up for grabs for the three winning artists who capture their mother's best side.
Entries in the form of paintings, photography and sculptures may be dropped off at the Thorold Public Library, Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, or A Yellow Flower Basket before this Thursday.
Entries for videos and music creations must be submitted through Instagram or Facebook at #ThoroldBIALovesMoms.
