Emergency services

As the Niagara Regional Police Service continues to adapt to the changing situation in regards to COVID-19, effective March 19, 2020, they will be closing 5 District (Fort Erie), 6 District (Port Colborne) and 8 District (Grimsby) to members of the public as we continue to safeguard the health and safety of our members. 1 District (St. Catharines), 2 District (Niagara Falls) and 3 District (Welland) front desks remain open for emergencies only.

Brock University is transitioning to a modified operational model that will see significant parts of the University working from remote locations.

The TCAG announced on Monday that they are closing effecive today, reopening April 6.

Trinity United Church on Pine Street will be suspending Sunday services March 15, 22, 29 and then reassess.

The Thorold Sports Runway of Recognition Gala Dinner originally scheduled for March 31st at John-Michael's Banquet Hall has been postponed. Once a new date has been set the committee will post.

The Trinity United Church rish Stew Supper (March 14) and Community Outreach Dinner (March 17) are cancelled.

Niagara College has suspended all on-campus classes beginning Monday, March 16 until further notice, while staff and faculty work to develop plans for alternative program delivery.

Brock University is suspending face-to-face classes and exams for the rest of this academic term and is working on a plan to move to alternative forms of class and exam delivery, including online. The academic term is not at risk. Brock is also suspending all events through June 1, including Cuvée 2020, which was set to take place on Saturday, April 25.

Thorold Public Library Ontario Paper Thorold Seniors Centre, Lock 7 Viewing Centre, including the Museum, Darlene Ryan Port Robinson Community Centre, and Allanburg Community Centre are closed until April 6. Meetings such as city council have been postponed until further notice.

Fitness facilities and special-interest services

Warrior Fitness Studio are closed until further notice.

Goodlife FItness has decided to close all their locations, which affects the two St Catharines locations.
