City of Thorold opens applications for student summer jobs

Here's how to apply for jobs in facility services, parks, and aquatics

Looking for a job this summer?

The city of Thorold has opened up its online applications for seasonal jobs in a number of its departments.

Students looking for work can apply for jobs in Arena and Pool services, cemetery services, parks and playing fields, or public works.

Work schedules may include evenings, weekends and holiday shifts; hours of work will vary by position and can be up to 40 hours per week.

Successful candidates are expected to be available for the duration of the summer season and requests for time off outside of regularly scheduled days off will be limited.

Students will be supplied with safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and reflective safety vests, however, are responsible for the purchase of their own CSA approved footwear.
