Each year, ridership continues to grow, as more and more tourists discover there's a fun, free way to cross the Welland Canal.

According to the city's Tourism Agent, Sue Morin, "People from all over the globe" have set sail aboard Bridge-It, Port Robinson's beloved ferry.

Cyclists, in particular, have embraced the convenience of bringing their bikes aboard the boat while cycling the Greater Niagara Circle Route, and one family loved the experience so much, they took a photo of themselves on Bridge-It, and sent it with a thank you letter to City Hall.

For the convenience of residents and visitors, the ferry will continue to run daily from 9 a.m. to dusk until Nov. 3, weather permitting.
