Bantams take two-game lead

The Thorold Impact Promotions Bantam BB Blackhawks travelled to Caledonia for game two of the OMHA Bantam BB semi-finals on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Caledonia opened the scoring early in the first period on a goal by Zach Ebert. Thorold tied the game with just over 5 minutes left in the second period on a goal by Luka Radovanovic, assisted by Curtis Isherwood. Thorold went ahead early in the third period on a goal by Brian Loney with assists going to Andrew McCafferty and Ethan Fisher.

Caledonia tied the game at 2 with 7:30 remaining in the game on a goal by Trent Chute. Just over four minutes later, Thorold's Jack Hale scored the game-winner on a perfect pass from Luka Radovanovic. Noah Dimarizio had a good game in net for Thorold in the win.

Thorold now has a 2-0 lead in the best of 5 series.

Next game is today, March 2, at 4 p.m. at the Frank Doherty arena in Thorold.
