16th annual Children's Water Festival kicks off Tuesday

The Niagara Children’s Water Festival will be hosting a VIP Sponsor Recognition and Festival Kick-off event. The event will include remarks from festival partners and speakers will present the winning grade 3/4 class from Assumption Catholic School in St. Catharines their certificate for the Name the Water Mascot Contest. 

There will be a road closure on part of Sixth Ave. so we ask all visitors/media to arrive at the venue via Victoria Ave.

WHO: Niagara Children’s Water Festival Partners: Niagara Region, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, Ontario Power Generation and City of Catharines
Speakers include Regional Chair Jim Bradley, Mayor Sandra Easton for the Town of Lincoln and Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority Board Chair Dave Bylsma.

Winning class: Assumption Catholic School from St. Catharines

WHAT: VIP Sponsorship Recognition and Festival Kick-off Event. Recognition of students who have won the mascot naming contest.

WHERE: Ball’s Falls Centre for Conservation (arrive via Victoria Ave.), Main Meeting Room
