A case of COVID-19 has been detected at Thorold's Foodland, an update from the store's corporate office said.
According to Sobeys, to which Foodland is a franchise, the employee worked their last day on September 23.
There have been at least two recent cases in Thorold as the region has been seeing an increase in daily cases.
Currently, Niagara has 91 active cases of COVID-19.
