A second case of COVID-19 has been found in a student at Eastdale Secondary School in Welland, DSBN said in a statement on Sunday.

Before the weekend the board said the first case had been found in a student, prompting a deep cleaning of the school.

On Monday, representatives from Public Health will be visiting the school, DSBN said.

Last week, Mary Ward Elementary in Niagara Falls also reported a positive case found at the school, but did not specify if it was a student or a teacher.
