After most seasonal evens were forced to shut down due to the pandemic, Rotary clubs in Niagara are suggesting backyard parties are the way to support local establishments.

This weekend a two-day online festival, streaming live on the Rotary Big Backyard Event website, will feature performances by Jonesy, Broken Cadence, Soul Jam, North of 49, and Vinyl Flux.

The 13 clubs involved in the initiative suggest throwing your own backyard bash with takeout from your favorite local restaurant.

Our goal is to help give a boost to restaurants that struggled during the pandemic. The bands are donating their time to support our community and we could not be more proud of everyone who has jumped on board to make this event a success,” said the event organizer.
