DSBN says a student at Eastdale Secondary School in Welland has tested positive for COVID-19.
The board said it was advised of the case through Niagara Region Public Health.
A Public Health inspector and nurse will visit the school on Monday, and the school will be deep cleaned over the weekend, a statement issued on Saturday evening said.
It is the second case of COVID-19 found in a Niagara school this week.
