Public Health has confirmed another 8 cases of COVID-19 in Niagara.

58 active cases are now found in Niagara residents, with Niagara-on-the-Lake being the primary location for the infection.

According to the region's statistics, there are currently no confirmed active cases in Thorold residents.

877 total cases in the region have been found since March 13.

There are 7 active outbreaks of the infection, of which 4 are in medical facilities.

64 residents have died after contracting the virus, of which the majority have been residents of long-term care homes.
