Thorold News received the following note from Pamela Minns:

The story on this house is excellent; I am so pleased that some of our heritage homes (both designated and not designated) are being featured regularly in The Thorold News.

With the purple and gold banners flying in the city representing the Prince of Wales Prize that was awarded to Thorold, this story on the Grenville House further confirms that we value our past and that we are preserving it.

Congratulations to Andre and Vicky Wagner for purchasing this house and for their work in restoring it for future generations to love and appreciate.

Thorold has more than 50 sites designated under the Ontario Heritage Act – something we should all be proud of.
