ThoroldNews has received the following letter from Mal Woodhouse, who wants to make sure Thorold's history is preserved:
Thorold's history is well-documented due to many dedicated volunteers over the years and the community belief that our history is important to future generations.
The recent national historical recognition was only possible because of these dedicated citizens. Thorold has been recognized for many achievements over our long successful history but I suggest that we would not be as successful without these wonderful, passionate, caring individuals.
If you are interested in being part of this Hall of Fame of historians then please join the Thorold and Beaverdams Historical Society; they could really use your help and you, too, can continue this very unique tradition of preserving Thorold's history.
