All Niagara residents who want to make an informed decision before voting in the upcoming federal election are invited to a candidates’ debate this Wednesday.

Sponsored by NCBOTAC—the Niagara Centre Board of Trade and Commerce—the event will provide residents within the Niagara Centre riding the opportunity to hear firsthand from their federal candidates, “in a friendly and informative atmosphere,” according to organizers.

Taking part will be Liberal Vance Badawey, NDP Malcolm Allen, PC April Jeffs, Green Party Michael Tomaino and Christian Heritage Party candidate Nic Bylsma.

Former Thorold Mayor Mal Woodhouse will act as moderator at the debate, which takes place at the Four Points Sheraton, located at 3530 Schmon Parkway in Thorold.

Doors open at 6 p.m., the debate gets underway at 7 p.m., and closing remarks will commence at 8:45 p.m.
