WATCH: Trudeau 'open to getting tested' after attending 4,000 person rally in Ottawa

Trudeau's response to reporters comes after criticism from Conservative leader Andrew Scheer for attending the rally

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was asked by reporters in today's press conference if he would get tested for COVID-19 after attending a Black Lives Matter ptoest in Ottawa that saw roughly 4,000 activitsts gathering at Parliament Hill.

He said he would continue to "follow public health protocols," stressing that he is "open to getting tested."

In a livestreamed press conference, Trudeau said he felt it was important he be in attendance to show support and solidarity with racialized Canadians.
