WATCH: Health officials considering social bubbles in next phase of reopening

Health minister says the expansion of social circles would have to be gradual so that if an outbreak did occur, contact-tracing would be simple to conduct

Health Minister Christine Elliott said today that the government is 'certainly considering' social bubbles for Phase 2 of Ontario's reopening plan.

This would allow people to slowly expand the number of people they associate with in a gradual 'cautious and measured way.'

In a livestreamed press conference today, Elliott said health officials and MPPs are looking into what the appropriate number of people allowed should be.
