WATCH: Consent necessary to conduct COVID-19 testing on children, says health minister

Testing of staff, children at child-care centres is part of the reopening framework unveiled today

Health Minister Christine Elliot responded to reporters' questions today about how children will be tested for COVID-19 at daycares, child-care centres under the province's Stage 2 reopening guidelines.

In a livestreamed press conference today, she clarified that parents' permission and consent would be necessary in order to conduct the test.
