Prime Minister Justin Trudeau holds his regular COVID-19 media briefing this morning at 11:15 a.m. from Ottawa.
Earlier this morning, Trudeau released details of a plan for additional supports for businesses during the pandemic.
This includes establishing a Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility (LEEFF) to provide bridge financing to Canada’s largest employers, whose needs during the pandemic are not being met through conventional financing, in order to keep their operations going.
The press conference will be streamed live on Trudeau’s Facebook page, and Village Media will carry the livestream.
